Everton and Watford played out a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park last night.

Watford boss Javi Gracia has told Football London that he spoke to Everton’s Richarlison at full-time at Goodison Park yesterday.

Everton and Watford played out a 2-2 draw last night, with the Toffees scoring a late leveller through Lucas Digne.

The French left-back curled in a free kick to deny Watford the three points and save Everton, after a poor second half performance.

The Toffees had taken the lead through Richarlison in the first half, but their performance levels dipped in the second half.

Watford got back into the contest, and almost picked up the three points, but were cruelly denied.

But Gracia still found it within him to have a joke at full-time with Richarlison, who moved to Everton from Watford this summer.

“I told him at the end of the game that it was the first goal I’d seen because last season he didn’t score one goal with me! But I wish him the best because he’s a great guy and a great player as well,” he said.

Richarlison has gone on to prove a brilliant buy for Everton, with the Brazilian going from strength to strength at Goodison Park.

The youngster now has eight goals for the season, and looks to be Everton’s most dangerous attacking outlet.
