Watford are interested in signing Kortney Hause from Aston Villa in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

The report has claimed that Villa defender Hause is among a number of players Watford like.

The Villans themselves are reportedly open to letting the former England Under-21 international leave.

Kortney Hause to leave Aston Villa for Watford?

In our opinion, if Watford made a bid for Hause in the January transfer window, then there is a chance that they could get him.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender is not a regular in the Villa team.

And, in our view, Villa manager Steven Gerrard will not be particularly fussed if Hause leaves this month.

The Villa no. 30 has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season.

Hause made seven appearances in the Premier League for the Villans last season.

The 26-year-old cost Villa £3 million in transfer fees when they signed him on a permanent contract from Wolves (The Sun).

Hause is out of contract in the summer of 2022, but Villa do have an option of another year.
