Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after Trent Alexander-Arnold returned to training.
The official club Twitter account shared an image of Alexander-Arnold back at the AXA Training Centre, and, as you can imagine, fans were over the moon to see him back in action.
The defender is one of Liverpool’s most important players. He’s their primary playmaker and he’s such an important component of their defence.
James Milner had a bit of a nightmare against Manchester City a couple of weeks ago at right-back, and it’s fair to say that Alexander-Arnold’s return will be a boost.
Of course, after a few weeks out, Trent will need to regain some match fitness and sharpen up, so whether or not he starts against Watford this weekend remains to be seen.
