The QPR midfielder and former Newcastle United man had a moment to savour this evening
Joey Barton may not have had a lot to smile about from a football point of view over the last year, but he is certainly going to be in celebratory mood this evening.
He scored direct from a corner for Marseille against Borussia Moenchengladbach in their Europe League tie.
The goal was a 54th minute equaliser for the home side to make the game 1-1.
Marseille went onto take a 2-1 lead but were pegged back in injury time to draw 2-2.
