Aston Villa’s Anwar El Ghazi opened the scoring today.

Anwar El Ghazi has fired Aston Villa into a 1-0 half-time lead away to Charlton Athletic.
The Dutch winger, who signed for Dean Smith’s side on a permanent basis this summer, prodded home on 38 minutes.
But so much of the goal was about Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, who poked the ball through for El Ghazi to open the scoring.
Here’s a video of the goal:
During the opening 45 minutes, Aston Villa fans were also treated to a first sighting of Trezeguet, who joined the West Midlands side this week.
But the Egypt international, along with El Ghazi and Ahmed Elmohamady, was withdrawn at the break for Andre Green, Jota and Frederic Guilbert.
There are three other summer signings on the bench – Kortney Hause, Bjorn Engels and Matt Targett.
Villa kick off their Premier League campaign in two weeks with a tricky trip to Spurs – their first top-flight game in over three years.
