Danny Gabbidon has criticised Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka on BBC Sport for his performance in the first half of the Premier League game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The former West Ham United defender believes that the 21-year-old Arsenal winger did not take his chances well in the opening minutes of the match.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka criticised v Leicester City

Gabbidon said: “Saka has been wasteful with his opportunities so far, his end product hasn’t quite been there. Arsenal are playing some lovely football though.”

Staying positive

Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players in the world and is a key figure at Arsenal.

The England international scores goals and creates chances.

We know that.

Now, Saka is only 21.

So, we have to accept that the Arsenal winger will not always be at the top of his game.

The youngster is bound to make mistakes and not always score.

And let us not forget that Saka is a winger and not a striker, so it is not a surprise that he will not always take his chances.

Saka has recovered from disappointing games and periodsbefore.

We believe that the youngster will play a big role for Arsenal in the coming weeks and months, as the North London club aim to win the Premier League title and perhaps even the UEFA Europa League.
