Dele Alli has sent an eight-word message to Harry Kane in response to the Tottenham talisman’s Instagram jibe aimed in his direction.
The Spurs No.10 posted a picture of himself and Alli playing basketball in training, captioned: ‘One v one. Only one winner. 🏀’
In response, the man who cost Tottenham £5 million from MK Dons wrote: ‘I know it wasn’t fair on you really.’
It’s good to see the duo having a laugh in training, especially Alli who has endured a difficult time of late under Jose Mourinho.
The England international has only made one Premier League start so far this season, and also just one in the Europa League as well.
According to the Daily Mail, Alli is growing frustrated at Mourinho’s lack of an explanation as to why he has been frozen out at Tottenham.

Additionally, the Daily Mail’s report also states that the attacking midfielder wants to know why the club blocked his proposed loan move to Paris Saint-Germain, only to leave him on the sidelines in north London.
There is still an excellent player in there somewhere, and it’s a real shame to see Mourinho freeze out a talent who looked on his way to becoming one of Europe’s best as a youngster.

Alli scored 18 Premier League goals in the 2016/2017, when he would’ve been just 20 years of age.
Let’s just hope the 24-year-old can resurrect his career – he has too much talent for it to go to waste.
