Tottenham Hotspur have managed to tie down every single one of their key men to new long-term contracts this season.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino responded to questions asking why his club have been so much more successful in tying down their stars to long-term deals than their bitter rivals Arsenal, as quoted by the Hertfordshire Mercury.
What Tottenham have done, in such a short period of time, must be applauded, and just serves as evidence of the harmony currently present at the club, with so many star names happy to commit their futures to working under Pochettino.

And the Argentine responded when asked why Spurs have been so successful in convincing their players to commit their futures to the club, whilst the Gunners have failed to do so, as quoted by the Hertfordshire Mercury:
“Maybe you can find the answer on this pitch. All the players are talking about the project, all are talking about the future, all are talking about being happy here. In the way they try to play they are happy. They agree with our philosophy. That is the answer. The players are happy to be here, for different reasons. Tottenham can provide the facilities, in one year and a half a new stadium. The answer is easier to find why.”

The future certainly looks bright for Tottenham, but in order for them to reach their full potential, they must finish inside the top-four on a regular basis, and create a culture of success at the football club, to go along with the obvious feel-good factor that seems to emanate from White Hart Lane.
And with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil still yet to commit their futures to Arsenal, a potential power shift in north London seems to be gathering momentum by the week.
