Forest won the game 3-1, but sold Oliver Burke less than 24 hours later.
Nottingham Forest take on Leeds United in the Championship this evening, with the two sleeping giants of English football going through very different campaigns.
Leeds are currently flying high after finally settling on a manager in Garry Monk and a recruitment process under controversial owner Massimo Cellino.
Meanwhile, at Forest, the club are managerless and reeling from the loss of their captain to a Championship rival as the ownership of Fawaz Al-Hasawi continues to cause ructions at the City Ground.

But when the two teams met earlier in the season Forest ran away with the spoils. The defeated Leeds 3-1 in August with goals from Pajtim Kasami, Damien Perquis and Oliver Burke.
But it was Burke who was the star of the show. He gave Leeds a torrid time throughout the game and after the game then-Forest manager Philippe Montanier was speaking of Burke staying at the club with hopes of a play-off push.
A day later, and the Scotland winger was an RB Leipzig player.

Forest have not found anyone capable of stepping up to take control of games like Burke could on a regular basis. Ben Osborn has had his moments, whilst Henri Lansbury has also scraped games for Forest – but he is no longer at the club.
It is hard to see who might step up v Leeds this evening.
