Harry Kane has put to bed any speculation over his future by confirming on Twitter that he will stay with Tottenham this summer.
The England captain posted on his official account that he will be staying in north London. Manchester City have been heavily linked with Kane, but the attacker’s Twitter post has seemingly ended any hope of a move.
As reported by the Daily Mail, City will now look for alternative options to the Spurs star with six days of the transfer window left to go. The Twitter post from Kane will likely come as a shock to supporters from all clubs.
Indeed, it seemed extremely likely that the attacker would make the move to City this summer. However, Kane has now put all speculation and rumours to the grave with a simple Twitter post.
The news is massive for Tottenham. The north London side can now focus on bringing in new players to build around Kane as Nuno Espirito Santo aims to fire Spurs back to the UEFA Champions League.
And as you would expect, Tottenham fans on social media are buzzing that Kane has publically posted on Twitter that he will be remaining with his boyhood club for the season.
