David Moyes has been speaking to the media ahead of the Europa League clash between West Ham and Rapid Wien tonight.
At one point, football was put aside for a moment as Moyes was informed of Declan Rice’s social media activity, which left him surprised.
What’s the story?
Well, a Twitter trend called Sing Your Dialect has become hugely popular this week.
It saw a number of celebrities and footballers – including Rice – come together on Twitter to perform a song of their choice.
In hilarious fashion, Rice went viral after singing his own rendition of Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby, replacing the word ice with rice.
When told that the 22-year-old was singing Rice Rice Baby to thousands online, Moyes said: “Was he?! I don’t do social media at all. That’s quite a good tune, catchy. Want me to try it?”
After these comments, the Scot put on his serious face, and said that he’s happy for Rice to do whatever he pleases online, as long as he keeps it under control.
West Ham have a real character in Declan Rice

Whatever the England international has for breakfast, we need it – the West Ham No.41 always seems to be full of energy and enthusiasm for life.
His attitude is infectious, to say the least.
When he’s not singing in front of thousands, Rice is practising his dance moves on the golf course with Tubes, and just being an all-round entertainer.

Then, when it comes down to matchday, we see a more serious side of the midfielder, which has helped him to become one of the best in Europe.
Simply put, Rice has it all – it’s hard to believe he’s only 22.
By the sounds of things, a career in music awaits him when his playing days are over!
