Every Rangers player went to visit Ibrox star Niko Kranjcar after his injury, according to manager Mark Warburton.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton has told the Glasgow Evening Times that his players have ‘so much respect’ for playmaker Niko Kranjcar.
Kranjcar, 32, is facing up to the possibility of his season being over, having suffered what is believed to be a major knee injury in training last week.

The Croatian playmaker only joined Rangers over the summer, as the former Tottenham Hotspur ace penned a two-year deal at Ibrox, leaving American side New York Cosmos for a stint in Glasgow.
After a slow start to life with Rangers, Kranjcar had started to exert his influence on games, enjoying a superb performance against Partick Thistle earlier this month.
Now though, Kranjcar is out, and manager Warburton has to deal with both of his big-name summer signings being unavailable, with Joey Barton still suspended by the club.

Kranjcar was missed in the 1-0 defeat to Celtic on Sunday, and on Monday, manager Warburton spoke to the Glasgow Evening Times about Kranjcar’s injury.
Warburton revealed that the Rangers physios told him they had never seen a reaction from a group of players like they had from the Gers squad after Kranjcar’s injuy, as every single player went to see how he was.

Warburton noted that Kranjcar’s knowledge and intellect make him a very respected player, whilst the influence of his father, Zlatko, has contributed to his knowledge of the game.
“He’s a top character and all the boys have so much respect for him,” said Warburton. “The physios said they’d never seen a reaction like it. All the boys came after training to see how he was – every single player. That shows you the esteem in which he’s held by the squad.”
“He’s a very knowledgeable player, a very intellectual football player who knows the game inside out. His dad is obviously a pedigree coach and Niko knows a lot about the game. So the lads really respect him,” he added.
