Glasgow Rangers brought Jordan Rossiter and Josh Windass to Ibrox when Mark Warburton was in charge of the Gers.
Rossiter joined Rangers in the summer of 2016 when Warburton was in the charge of the Gers after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2015-16 season.
Much was expected of the 20-year-old midfielder, but the former England Under-19 international has struggled with injuries during his time at the Gers so far.
Former Rangers and Nottingham Forest manager Warburton believes that Rossiter will make an impact for the Glasgow giants once he is fully fit.
Warburton has also stated there is more to come from Josh Windass, who officially moved to Rangers in the summer of 2016.
The 24-year-old midfielder has has issues with consistency, but the former Accrington Stanley star has been playing well and scoring goals in recent weeks.
“Frank McParland signed Josh and Matt Crooks, two talented players, and also Jordan Rossiter who has been so unfortunate with injuries,” Warburton told The Scottish Sun. “But I’ve no doubts once he’s fully fit Jordan will make an impact for Rangers.
“Josh is earning rave reviews and has added goals to his game. But, trust me, he’s still got loads more development in him.”
Exciting prediction
Warburton knows Rossiter and Windass well, and Rangers fans should be pleased with the former Forest manager’s prediction.
It is hard to judge Rossiter given that he has played only a handful of matches, while Windass is now showing the kind of form that convinced the Gers to sign him in the first place.
If the two players continue to improve and develop, then the Ibrox club could have two of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership on their books.
