Leeds United should make Diogo Goncalves their top target this summer.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani’s statement of intent to emulate Wolves success next season could even extend to working with Jorge Mendes, he told Talksport earlier this week.
Mendes’ Gestifute agency represent clients clients across Europe and there could be some intriguing possibilities for Leeds.
One they should prioritise is Benfica winger Diogo Goncalves.
Goncalves was linked with a loan move to Wolves last summer by Portuguese newspaper Record, but he was convinced to stay put and fight for his place.

The 21-year-old winger though has struggled for game time domestically despite making four Champions League appearances.
Goncalves has only made seven appearances in the Primeira Liga, during which he has managed to provide two assists.
He has an impressive record at youth international level with five goals in 12 under-20 games and two in four matches for Portugal’s under-21 side.
Mendes should be able to see that his client needs regular game time, and this is the type of move Leeds should be trying to pull off, to emulate the success Wolves have had with Diogo Jota and Ivan Cavaleiro.

Benfica have strong first team options already and there is potential that if Goncalves is a big success at Leeds, then a permanent deal could be done too.
At the very least he is an upgrade on Hadi Sacko who started on the wing against Wolves a fortnight ago, and this is an area Leeds desperately need to address. Bringing in a player of Goncalves’ quality on loan would be a big step forward.
