The Sevilla striker would be a useful addition to the Everton squad this summer.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has already spent well in excess of £100 million acquiring new talent at Goodison Park this summer, but the Dutchman’s business is by no means finished, especially following the £75 million windfall they received following Romelu Lukaku’s sale to Manchester United.
Koeman will be desperate to bolster his attacking options, in spite of the recent acquisition of Sandro Ramirez, and with this in mind, he should consider a move for Sevilla’s Wissam Ben Yedder, who Everton tried to sign way back in 2012, according to the Daily Star.

The 26-year-old was in fine form for his club last season, scoring 18 goals in 40 outings, as well as chipping in with four assists, with 16 of those appearances coming from the substitutes bench.
The Frenchman is a real live-wire, and a constant menace to opposition defenders, what with his tireless work-rate and his willingness to make selfless runs into the channels.
Ben Yedder would be the ideal fit for an Everton side managed by Koeman, what with the Dutchman’s insistence on 100 per cent commitment and his penchant for his forward players to press with aggression from the front.
One potential point of caution for the Blues, regarding the potential signing of the Sevilla hitman, would be his small frame. Standing at just 5ft 7in tall, the 26-year-old might find it hard to adjust to the robust nature of the Premier League.
There is only one way to find out though, and if Everton are serious about signing Ben Yedder, they will surely have to dig deep, with the Frenchman still under contract at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium for another four years.
