Zenga’s Wolves side host Leeds at Molineux on Saturday.
Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Walter Zenga has explained what it is about Leeds United that impresses him ahead of the two sides’ meeting this afternoon, the Express and Star reports.
The two teams will go into their clash at Molineux looking to bounce back from disappointment in midweek. Wolves narrowly lost to high-flying Brighton while the Whites had to settle for a point against lowly Wigan after conceding a stoppage-time equaliser.

And ahead of the contest, Zenga has outlined what his side must be wary of if they hope to pick up a positive result.
“I expect a difficult game because Leeds is a very strong, tough team, they are very aggressive – which doesn’t mean they don’t respect, it’s a good attitude,” he said, as reported by the Express and Star.
Leeds manager Garry Monk
“We have to bring the fans on our side, think positive and win the game, with all the respect for our opponents.”
Though both teams are currently situated in the bottom-half of the table, both managers are looking to navigate their respective teams through transitional periods, and thus, it is arguably fair to say that they have made bright starts.

While the distance to the bottom three is not far enough for either team to be sitting comfortably in their current position, they are arguably only a few victories away from putting themselves in the mix for a top six spot.
And while nothing will be decided today, both teams will surely be looking to strike a psychological blow against a side that they may be expecting to be battling alongside them in the play-off mix when the campaign reaches the business end.
