The Irishman is enjoying his time away from Aston Villa.
Walsall’s on loan defender Kevin Toner has told BBC West Midlands that he is not yet ready to return to Aston Villa.
Toner, who has four Premier League appearances to his name, moved to the Banks’s Stadium on a half-season loan in August.

And the Republic of Ireland international is loving it so far, having started and completed each of the 11 League One games for which he has been available.
With Steve Bruce now in charge of Aston Villa, the 56-year-old may wish to take a closer look at Toner when his temporary spell comes to an end in the new year.

Toner, however, is intent on staying put until the summer.
Asked if his loan spell was proving more beneficial than the under-23 set up he was used to at Villa, he replied: “100 per cent. I’d advise anybody (to do it).
“I did think I was able for it and now I know I am able for it. I wanted to get out and play proper football, men’s football, and show that I can do it.”

On the possibility of extending his Saddlers stay, Toner added: “I want to. If I can, I’d like to get a full season in League One and I’d like to play every game that I’m available for.
“So yeah, I’d like to stay on.”
Toner, along with Stevenage loanee Harry McKirdy, signed a new two-year deal at Villa Park before leaving on a temporary basis.
And according to the Birmingham Mail the plan was for another Villa prospect, Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, to do likewise.
Talks with the 18-year-old are yet to reach a positive conclusion, however, and Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers are now thought to be keen.
