Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Marko Grujic against Arsenal on Thursday evening.
Grujic was in action for Liverpool in their Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Premier League rivals Arsenal at Anfield last night.
The 24-year-old midfielder started the tie and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended goalless in normal time and the Gunners won 5-4 on penalties.
According to WhoScored, the Serbia international took seven shots of which two were on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 88.1%, won three headers, took 83 touches, attempted one dribble, and made five tackles and three interceptions.

Grujic was out on loan at Hertha Berlin for the past two seasons, but he is back in the Liverpool first-team fold now.
The Serbian is a very good midfielder, as he showed against Arsenal, and it remains to be seen if he is able to establish himself in manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup in the coming weeks and months.
