Wales have risen to 10th in latest rankings set by FIFA, one spot above former European and World champions Spain after Chris Coleman’s side beat Moldova 4-0 in the international break.

The Dragons reached the top 10 for the first time in July 2015 and achieved a record of eighth in October last year during their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.

England sit two places below the Welsh in twelfth after Sam Allardyce won his first game in charge against Slovakia with a late Adam Lallana strike being the difference, as the Three Lions look to put what happened in France to bed.
