The Everton winger is in line to make his debut against West Bromwich Albion.

Theo Walcott is likely to make his Everton debut in tomorrow’s game at home to West Bromwich Albion and the winger could find himself in a direct battle with a very familiar figure.
Having completed his £20 million move from Arsenal this week, Walcott will be determined to make an instant impact for Everton as he looks to repay Sam Alladyce’s faith in him and prove that he can still impress in the Premier League.
If he is deployed on the right wing against West Brom then in all likelihood Walcott will be up against Kieran Gibbs, a player with whom he was team-mates at Arsenal for a lengthy period.

The battle will certainly be intriguing, with both players fully aware of the qualities and flaws in eachother’s games.
Walcott will be aiming to cut inside as much as possible and exploit the fact that Gibbs’ positioning can often be questionable.

However, Gibbs is a talented defender and will surely relish the chance to succeed against a player that he knows so well.
With Everton having lost their last three Premier League games in a row, they could do with Walcott getting off to a good start, although he will have to get the better of Gibbs in order to succeed.
