Jamie Carragher has said on Sky Sports that reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham could soon become world class.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Bellingham, who has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, could get into the world-class category after the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The former Liverpool defender made the comments about the 19-year-old midfielder while picking him in his England starting lineup in Qatar.
Earlier this month, ESPN reported that Liverpool are leading the race to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.
Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City all are interested in the 19-year-old midfielder as well, according to the report.

Carragher said: “Who have we got as world class? I think Kane and Foden go into that category.
“And I think Bellingham is almost just waiting to take that step and maybe we will say that after the World Cup.”

Huge potential signing for Liverpool
In our view, Jude Bellingham would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool and would be a real coup for the Reds.
Now, of course, Borussia Dortmund are not going to sell the teenager in the middle of the season.
However, the German club could cash in on him next summer.
We know that Dortmund sell their best players, such as Erling Haaland to Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
Bellingham is one of the best young dynamic and box-to-box midfielders around, and he would make Liverpool so much better.
