Sergio Aguero is yet to play an official game for FC Barcelona, but that hasn’t stopped the Manchester City legend from bagging his first goal for the club.
The Catalan giants took on third-tier side UE Cornella in a training ground friendly. And despite drawing 2-2, Aguero was on the scoresheet for Barcelona as the Argentine scored his first goal for the club.
Footage posted after the match on Barcelona’s official Twitter account showed that it was an easy goal for Aguero. With the striker pouncing on a loose save from the goalkeeper to poke the ball into an empty net.
With the striker getting minutes, it looks like Aguero is drawing close to his official debut for Barca after joining the club in the summer after his contract with City expired.
Indeed, things at Barcelona have changed a lot since Aguero’s initial arrival. Lionel Messi, one of the attacker’s closest friends, departed the club for PSG. Whilst reports of players and staff turning on Ronald Koeman continue to linger.
With City starting the season in great fashion, and without a striker, Aguero might have missed a trick not staying with the Manchester giants for an extra season or two.
City fans are stunned by Aguero goal for Barcelona

Yet on social media, as you would expect, City fans were both happy and stunned that Aguero finally managed to score his first goal for Barcelona. It is likely that the striker will score in La Liga this month if he returns to full fitness.
