The West Brom rebel has been linked with a move to join Mark Warburton’s Rangers at Ibrox on social media.
As reported by Glasgow Live this afternoon social media rumours have been circulating linking West Brom striker Saido Berahino with a move to Rangers.
The striker is out of contract in the summer at West Brom and appears to be on his way, after a tumultuous couple of seasons at the club.
Of course, Rangers would love to sign a player of Berahino’s quality – even if there is an attitude problem that Mark Warburton would have to contend with.

But surely there is no way they would be able to afford him?
Rangers are not able to spend big at present and, after their recent financial abyss, are keeping the budget at the club tight.
A recent report from the Express and Star has indicated that West Brom are willing to offer the striker £60,000-a-week to stay at the club.

If that is the sort of wage Berahino is offered, then quite simply Rangers have no chance of agreeing a deal to sign the player – despite rumours to the contrary.
It seems this is more of a fantasy than reality for Rangers. If they did manage to bring Berahino to Ibrox it would be the kind of marquee signing the club needs.
But in all likelihood, it is not on the cards.
