Matej Vydra fired Derby in front in the first minute, and from that moment on the Rams’ rarely looked like letting their lead slip.

Although Barrie McKay had Forest’s best chance, the Reds did little to threaten at Pride Park.
And Dave Nugent’s second half strike put the game beyond any doubt, with Derby picking up an important three points.
The victory clearly meant a lot of Derby’s squad, with a huge number of their first-team squad reacting on Twitter to the win.
Derby’s victory has seen them leapfrog Forest in the Championship table into 13th place.
The Rams have a game in hand on many of their divisional rivals, and could push into play off contention if they are able to win that contest.
