Fabrizio Romano has claimed it is ‘extremely unlikely’ that Arsenal are signing Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic was heavily linked with a January transfer to the Gunners but he snubbed them in favour of joining Juventus in a £66 million deal [Sky Sports].
HITC Sport wrote earlier this week about how the 22-year-old might regret rejecting Arsenal, who are top of the Premier League table this time around while the Italian giants languish in eighth.
And then CMW reported that the North Londoners were still interested in bringing the Serbia international to the Emirates Stadium, despite him only joining Juve this year.
However, the reliable Italian journalist has claimed that there’s absolutely zero substance to this speculation, commenting that the chances of it materialising are very remote.

He told Caught Offside: “At the moment there’s absolutely nothing between Dusan Vlahovic and Arsenal. We can’t predict the future but as of now there’s not even a direct contact,” Romano said.
“Vlahovic is key player for Juventus and they invested €75m plus add-ons for him, so it’s extremely unlikely. He was great last season with Juventus, this year all the players are not performing so I don’t think it’s Vlahovic’s fault that he’s not yet performed at his very best.”
This will disappoint a lot of Arsenal supporters but really, they shouldn’t raise their expectations over Vlahovic in the first place.
This is someone on a long-term contract who is 22 and cost £66 million as recently as January.
In other words, the Serie A outfit can name their price for Vlahovic and given his potential, well he could cost the Gunners – and anyone else – an absolute bomb.
