Reading will face Leeds United at Elland Road in the Championship this weekend.
The Royals will take on Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Playing at home will give the Whites an advantage, and it is going to be hard for Reading to even pick up a point.
Goalkeeper Mannone has been speaking ahead of the match, and the Reading goalkeeper has said that he is going to treat it as just another match.
The former Arsenal custodian, who joined Reading from Sunderland in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £2 million, has also shared his opinion on the Leeds fans.
“It’s a big game but from my experience I loved when the big games were coming,” Mannone told Reading’s official website.
“In the past few years, playing against teams like Man City, Man United, Liverpool, I treat Leeds United as another game like that.
“It’s a big stadium, the fans will be crazy and it’ll be a big game and a big stage for us to step on and try and get the three points. If we do that, if we do it there, it will give us big confidence and then go again on the next one.”
Interestingly, Leeds striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga has described the Elland Road faithful as “crazy” as well.
The 25-year-old striker, who joined the Whites on a season-long loan deal from Hamburg in the summer transfer window, told The Yorkshire Evening Post in September 2017: “At the clubs where I played, in Berlin and in Hamburg, the fans were very good.
“I liked to play in those stadiums and I hear a lot about the fans in Leeds. They’re very crazy for this club and I’ll see (today) what’s going on.”
Leeds have some of the best fans in England, and the supporters will be important in the team defeating Reading and returning to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday.
