Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Vitinha from FC Porto in the summer transfer window, according to Mercado Azul.
What’s the story?
Mercado Azul have reported that Wolves and Spurs want to sign Vitinha.
However, the Wanderers are hesitant in triggering the option to sign the 21-year-old midfielder on a permanent contract.
Wolves had the Portugal Under-21 international on loan from Porto last season and are interested in doing a permanent deal.
Tottenham have now started to show interest in Vitinha.
The youngster’s client, Jorge Mendes, has presented the possibility of taking him to Spurs for €20 million (£17.09m).
Nuno is now the head coach of Spurs and worked with his Portuguese compatriot at Wolves last season.

Would Vitinha make Tottenham better?
Vitinha made five starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves last season.
The 21-year-old gave one assist in those games.
The Portuguese is an attacking midfielder and has a bright future ahead of him.

However, Spurs are not exactly in need of a young central attacking midfielder.
Tottenham have Dele Alli.
Yes, the English midfielder has not been at his best for a while, but under Nuno, he could flourish.
There is no point in Tottenham signing a 21-year-old for €20 million (£17.09m).
