The Daily Mail have reported that Tottenham will finalise the £20 million transfer early next week.
Djed Spence to join Tottenham Hotspur
Crook said about Tottenham and Spence on talkSPORT (9:38am, June 11, 2022): “I got a message last night saying that the deal was virtually done. £20 million the fee.”

Exciting
In our view, Middlesbrough youngster Djed Spence would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old can play as a right-back, wing-back or winger.
The youngster spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Nottingham Forest from Middlesbrough.
Spence played a big role in Forest winning promotion to the Premier League.
The England Under-21 international made 41 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Reds this past season.
Spence scored two goals and gave four assists in those games.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte plays with wing-backs, and Spence would be a good addition to the North London club’s team.
Now, of course, we must not expect too much of Spence straightaway.
Yes, he has had a wonderful season, but the Middlesbrough defender is still only 21 and has got a lot more to learn.
