Jurgen Klopp’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
After a goalless first half, James Milner put Liverpool in the lead in the 61st minute, and Alexandre Lacazette found the equaliser for the Gunners on 82 minutes.
Van Dijk – who earns £150,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – played well for Liverpool at the back and could have scored twice for the Merseyside outfit.
The 27-year-old Netherlands international central defender has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result at the Emirates.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening, visitors Liverpool had 38% of the possession, took 13 shots of which four were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
The result means that Liverpool are now third in the Premier League table with 27 points from 11 matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
