Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk has just responded to Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies’s post on Twitter.

Davies has expressed his delight on the social networking site at winning the Champions League with Bayern.

The German giants got the better of Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the final of Europe’s premier club competition on Sunday evening.

Davies played an important role in Bayern’s triumph in Europe and wowed a lot of football fans with his performances in the knockout stages of the competition.

The Canada international is only 19 years of age, but he is already being considered as one of the best left-backs in the world at the moment.

As reported by CNN, it was not easy for the youngster growing up, as he was born in a Ghanaian refugee camp to Liberian parents who were fleeing their country’s civil war.

Davies was only five years old when his family moved to Canada, according to CNN.
