Liverpool drew with Everton at Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.

The Reds played out a goalless draw with Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
The result means that Jurgen Klopp’s side are now second in the league table with 70 points from 29 matches, just a point behind leaders Manchester City.
Van Dijk – who earns £180,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – was not too impressed with the way Everton fans celebrated the final result.
The 27-year-old Netherlands international central defender told The Mirror: “Yes of course (we are disappointed). We deserved the three points and it says a lot that they are celebrating. We had chances to win the game and did not finish them off. We go again.”

Stats
Van Dijk was arguably Liverpool’s best player against Everton, as the former Celtic and Southampton star produced a masterclass display in defence.
According to WhoScored, the Dutchman took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 85.7%, won 10 headers, made two tackles, three interceptions and 13 clearances, and played one key pass.
So far this season, the 27-year-old has made 29 appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
