“No trophy or any title can take anything away from what you’ve done in this sport and for sports fans around the world.”

Kohli continued, “No title can explain the impact you’ve had on people and what I and so many around the world feel when we watch you play. That’s a gift from God.”

“A real blessing to a man who plays his heart out every single time and is the epitome of hard work and dedication and a true inspiration for any sportsperson. You are for me the greatest of all time.”

A testament to Ronaldo’s impact across the world

Much like Cristiano Ronaldo, Virat Kohli is renowned for breaking records for fun whilst going to extreme lengths to become the best.

The Indian legend’s impact is such that many within the country even believe that he has surpassed the great Sachin Tendulkar as the greatest cricketer to ever grace the sport.

The fact that such a sporting icon is as inspired by Ronaldo as he is speaks volumes about the impact the veteran has had on the world.

While Cristiano Ronaldo may be past his best, his impact and legacy on billions universally should never be taken for granted.
