Joey Barton left Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers last week.
Vinne Jones has shown his support for controversial midfielder Joey Barton.
The 34-year-old is without a club after officially leaving Rangers last week, just three months into a two-year contract with the Gers.
He was embroiled in a training-ground row with team-mate Andy Halliday and boss Mark Warburton after the 5-1 defeat by Celtic in September, and hadn’t played for Rangers since.

Barton, who also had spells with Manchester City, Newcastle United and Burnley, has been no stranger to controversy in what has been a fiery career at times.
But Jones, very much a no-nonsense figure in English football during the late 1980s and 1990s, has told the one-time England international to never change, calling him the last of a dying breed.

Barton is out of work at the moment, but having played a big role in helping Burnley win Premier League promotion just last season, the midfielder still has a bit to offer.
Beyond the trouble lies a gifted footballer and there will be a number of Championship clubs chasing him.
The Derby Telegraph reported last week that the Rams boss Steve McClaren had offered him the chance to train with his side, while a host of other second-tier outfits have been linked.
