Former Leeds United and Chelsea midfielder Vinnie Jones has taken to social networking site Twitter to urge Stoke City striker Peter Crouch to join Queens Park Rangers before the end of the summer transfer window.
Crouch is on the books of Stoke at the moment, but the former Tottenham Hotspur striker is not guaranteed a place in the Premier League club’s starting lineup.
Former QPR midfielder Jones has advised the 35-year-old to join Championship outfit Rangers this month.

Crouch has played for QPR in his career before, and he would be a decent signing for the London outfit.
The Englishman may be 35 years of age, but he can still do a job, especially in the Championship.
Rangers are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season, and signing a player with Crouch’s experience would be a good move.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with six points from three matches.
QPR will take on Preston North End at Loftus Road in London in the league on Saturday afternoon.
