Leeds United beat Norwich City 3-2 at Carrow Road yesterday.

Vinnie Jones has praised Leeds United boss Garry Monk for silencing his critics, after the Whites’ win against Norwich City yesterday.

Leeds went to Carrow Road in good form, and they largely dominated against one of the promotion favourites by putting in an excellent display.

Leeds fell behind in the first-half, but Monk’s side fought back to turn the game around through goals from Pontus Jansson and Chris Wood.

Norwich did get a late equaliser when Kyle Lafferty popped up, but Leeds were not to be denied, and they secured the three points when Ronaldo Vieira struck in stoppage time at the end of the match.

Leeds are now in the top six in the Championship table, after a fantastic run of form, and Jones was delighted for his former side.

Leeds have now won nine of their last 12 matches in all competitions, after what has been a remarkable run of form.

The Yorkshire side are next in action after the international break, when they take on top of the table Newcastle United, in what looks set to be a test of their promotion credentials.
