Marcelo Bielsa was appointed the Leeds United head coach in the summer of 2018.

The former Leeds midfielder has also suggested that former Everton and West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is being punted around for the managerial role at Elland Road.
Jones said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (6:54am, May 20, 2019): “I am on the forum with the Leeds United Trust, and they sent him (Bielsa) a really nice letter saying thanks for everything you have done and we have had a great season, but we fell short again this season.
“I see different people punted around, Big Sam has been punted around, but I think, on the whole what I can seen and read on the social media with the Leeds fans, they are quite happy with Bielsa. I am not sure there will be a change.”
Meanwhile, former Leeds striker Noel Whelan have had his say on Bielsa’s future on BBC Radio Leeds: “There’s going to be a lot of people looking at him from Championship clubs to Premier League clubs to overseas clubs.
“So if we can manage to keep him, then that’s probably the best signing you can have at the minute of the summer because he knows what to do with the players.
“The players have already had a season with him so they know what’s going to happen, know what pre-season is going to be like, they know the style of play.”

Marcelo Bielsa stay at Leeds United
Leeds may have failed in the Championship playoffs this season, but there can be no doubt that it has been a superb season for the West Yorkshire outfit.
Not many expected the West Yorkshire outfit to challenge for promotion to the Premier League this campaign, but until the final weeks of the season, Leeds were actually aiming for a top-two finish.
Bielsa is very popular among the Elland Road faithful, and Leeds fans will hope that the Argentine stays at the club and launches yet another promotion challenge next season.
If Bielsa stays at Leeds and the Whites are able to retain their best players, then the team will be successful next season.
