Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen has told the club’s official Twitter page that he is happy to have scored against Leicester City.
Janssen scored for Tottenham against Leicester at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old striker found the net in the 44th minute from the penalty spot.
The Netherlands international has stated that he is pleased to have given something back to the Spurs fans for supporting him since his arrival at the club in the summer transfer window.
Janssen, though, has admitted that he is disappointed that Mauricio Pochettino’s side failed to pick up all three points from the encounter.
Janssen’s comments will make Tottenham fans happy, as they show just how much the striker appreciates their support.
The goal against Leicester was the Dutchman’s first in the Premier League this season.
There have been occasions when the youngster has looked very frustrated, but the Spurs fans have continued to support him.
Janssen clearly appreciates the Tottenham supporters, and his comments should delight them.
