Tottenham Hotspur picked up a crucial win in their hunt for the Premier League title yesterday, as they fought back from a goal down to get all three points against Swansea City.

Three goals in the final few minutes saw them claim a 3-1 win at the Liberty Stadium and left relegation fighting Swansea devastated.

Spurs had initially struggled throughout the game but it was a change on the hour mark that helped turn things around.

Vincent Janssen entered the field for Moussa Sissoko and added a different dimension to the Tottenham attack. He even bagged the assist for Heung-min Son’s goal as Spurs went 2-1 up.

It was a display that saw him voted man of the match by the Tottenham fans on Twitter. The Dutchman was clearly over the moon with that recognition, as this tweet suggests:

It has been a tough first season for the Dutch international, who has still only scored once from open play since his big money move from AZ Alkmaar in the summer.

But his commitment and hold-up play have never been in doubt, with this performance yet another example of both.

Now he will be hoping to add some more goals to his game and prove himself a worthy back-up to Harry Kane at White Hart Lane.
