Tottenham Hotspur have signed Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar.

Tottenham Hotspur new boy Vincent Janssen has told ESPN that he knows all about White Hart Lane’s ‘crazy’ atmosphere.
Janssen has signed for Spurs from AZ Alkmaar this summer, but he is not totally unfamiliar with his new surroundings.
Janssen claims that he was always a keen admirer of Tottenham, even before he arrived, and he knows all about the Dutch players who have represented the Lilywhites in recent times.
“I liked the club before,” Janssen said. “I’ve watched games — White Hart Lane has a crazy atmosphere, it’s fantastic to play there.

“The Dutch people at the club who played there before were fantastic — [Edgar] Davids, [Rafael] Van der Vaart. The thing I remember most about Tottenham is when Van der Vaart played for them in the Champions League. In Holland, people follow Tottenham Hotspur. I like the club very much.”
Janssen made his first appearance for Spurs earlier today, in their friendly against Juventus.
Janssen was unable to score in the friendly, and he did not have much service.

The 22-year-old forward has only been with the Lilywhites for a short period of time. However, he has got to know his new teammates during their tour of Australia, and feels that he is settling in well.
“I’m enjoying it very much,” the Dutch international said. “The group is very good for me. They’ve helped me a lot. For me, everything is going very well. For me, London is okay — I’ve settled in, so it’s perfect. I really enjoy the club.”
Janssen is expected to provide competition with Harry Kane for a place up-front for Spurs this season.
Pochettino’s side get their competitive campaign underway with a match against Everton next month.
