Departing Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen has posted a message to Spurs fans on Instagram.
In it, the Dutchman confirmed he is joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce on loan until the end of the campaign.
It comes after Tottenham signed Fernando Llorente from Swansea City on the final day of the summer transfer window, but failed to offload Janssen despite interest from several clubs at home and abroad.

But the the 23-year-old’s hopes of clawing his way back into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans took a hit this week when he was omitted from Spurs’ 21-man squad for their forthcoming Champions League campaign.
Nevertheless, a season elsewhere could be the perfect tonic for Janssen, whose message read: “First of all, I would like to thank all the Tottenham Hotspur fans for their ongoing support.
“I will continue in Istanbul on a season-long loan at Fenerbahce. All the best this season and see you soon! #COYS“
Janssen will link up with another former Tottenham striker, Roberto Soldado, as well as Netherlands colleague Robin van Persie in Istanbul.
Spurs paid £18 million for the former AZ Alkmaar player, who scored just six goals in 39 games for the side from north London, and has three years remaining on his contract there.
