Tottenham Hotspur may have had a bad weekend as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby, but Vincent Janssen enjoyed a good time in Turkey.
Currently on a season-long loan deal at Turkish giants Fenerbahce, Janssen tasted victory during the league game against Sivasspor.
Although the Netherlands international striker failed to score in the 4-1 win on Sunday, he provided the assist for Roberto Soldado’s second goal of the match.
The 23-year-old, who joined Tottenham from AZ in the summer of 2016, was also unlucky to have hit the Sivasspor crossbar twice.
Janssen has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in the win for Fenerbahce.
Janssen is struggling to score goals at Fenerbahce, having found the net just twice in nine league appearances, according to WhoScored.
The Dutchman could find his form in the coming weeks and months, but it is hard to envisage him having a career at Spurs.
Tottenham are doing well without Janssen, who is going to find it hard to even make the squad at Spurs next season.
