Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen had a night to remember against Belarus last night. The Dutchman scored a fantastic goal for his country, his first goal from open play since leaving AZ Alkmaar in the summer.
He has struggled to find his best form for Spurs since his move. He has scored just once for Tottenham, from the penalty spot against Gillingham in the EFL Cup.
After this goal he will no doubt be hoping to score for Spurs as soon as he is back in action for his club.
But he will also want to score again on international duty – but he will be going up against a Spurs team-mate in doing so.
France’s Hugo Lloris reacts
The Netherlands take on France in a World Cup qualifier on Monday night and will be hoping to pick up a famous win.
Janssen will want more goals, but will have to get past his Spurs captain Hugo Lloris in the French goal if he was to do so.
Spurs fans, if they had to choose, would probably prefer to see their under-fire striker hit the back of the net then their always cool keeper keep a clean sheet.
