New Tottenham Hotspur signing Vincent Janssen was blown away by his tour of the club.
Vincent Janssen became Tottenham’s most expensive summer signing so far yesterday, clinching an £18 million move from AZ Alkmaar.
The Dutch international striker will compete for a place with Harry Kane up front, and give the team an even more dangerous edge than they had last season.

Speaking to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Janssen said his mind was made up to join Tottenham from the very moment he met with the club in London in early June.
He said: “After the tour of the training ground and the stadium, I knew for sure: what a fantastic club.
“And the conversation with the coach (Mauricio Pochettino) it was perfect as there was an immediate click. He was clearly into the game and how he sees my future.”
Janssen was determined from that point on to join Spurs, rejecting advances from Wolfsburg, Paris Saint-Germain, and West Ham.
It speaks a lot about Pochettino’s man management skills that he was able to instantly effectively make Janssen’s mind up for him.
Netherland’s Vincent Janssen celebrates
The striker added that he is confident he will get the chance to play plenty of games despite the competition from Harry Kane.
He said: “Of course I want to play football. But I will need time to adapt. Yet I know there will be plenty of minutes. With the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup I can play many games. And I’m going to enjoy all the playing time I get.”
After scoring 27 goals in Holland last season it is little wonder that Janssen is confident, and at £18 million, Tottenham might just have bagged a bargain.
