Jordan Amavi and Aston Villa have demanded to see his failed medical report at Sevilla.
Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia has taken another swipe at Sevilla after the deal to sign Jordan Amavi fell through because of a failed medical.
Following the news that the Andalusian club had purchased Nolito from Manchester City, Xia took to Twitter to sarcastically mock them.
This comes after Sky Sports reported a fee and personal terms were agreed to take Amavi to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, only for a failed medical collapsing the move late on.
Both Villa and the left-back himself claimed that there was nothing wrong with him and according to the Birmingham Mail, both the club and player have now demanded to see the report.
Amavi did suffer an anterior cruciate ligament injury in November 2015, but the Villans insist that it is no longer causing the 23-year-old a problem and he is fully fit.
The Frenchman is still expected to leave Villa Park this summer, with the Daily Star claiming Liverpool are interested in taking him on loan.
