Liverpool’s Jordon Ibe scored his first senior goal in the club’s friendly win at the weekend.
Jordon Ibe is the next exciting name to emerge from Liverpool’s academy, with many even believing he has the potential to eclipse teammate Raheem Sterling.
Confidence in him is so high he was handed a start in the Reds’ first pre-season friendly of the season against Preston on Saturday.
Coutinho opened the scoring before Ibe struck a fine effort from the edge of the box which squeezed in at the near post. It was a quite superb way to score his first senior goal.
Raheem Sterling would bag the third in the second half before new signing Iago Aspas also registered his first goal for the club.
