Liverpool are top of the Premier League with the January transfer window less than two months away.
As we head into the winter months, many will be getting excited for Christmas. However, football fans will be getting excited for the looming January transfer window, and Liverpool supporters are no different.
Jurgen Klopp’s side sit top of the Premier League after 11 games, reaching the summit after a recent magnificant 6-1 victory over Watford. Many fans are dreaming of a league title, but where do they think they need to strengthen in January? HITC Sport’s Michael Ramsay found out.

Liverpool are claerly the most exciting team in the Premier League right now. No side has scored more goals than the Reds, finding the net 30 times already. While they are breathtaking going forward, however, they remain questionable at the back.
Liverpool have kept just one clean sheet this season, coming in the drab 0-0 draw with rivals Manchester United. Klopp and co will need to tighten up at the back if they are to go all the way this season, and the fans think so too.
Clean sheets need to become more regular under Klopp, with one fan simply stating: “Sometimes you need to win by one goal.”
The club are desperate for a left back, with Alberto Moreno’s disappointing performances forcing midfielder James Milner to slot in at the back.

Back up for Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren is also needed, with one fan citing Southampton’s Jose Fonte as a possible option, because Liverpool simply have not signed enough players from the Saints…
Liverpool are less likely to improve their squad in attack, with players like Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho performing at the highest level, but that did not stop some of the Anfield faithful dreaming of stars like Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez moving to Merseyside.
