Now looking odds on to finish in the play-offs, Huddersfield Town are looking to end what has been a miraculous season with the dream ending: promotion to the Premier League. Under David Wagner, the Terriers have undergone what fans dub the “Wagner Revolution”, and have been one of the best attacking sides in the Championship this season.
But the job isn’t done yet. The play-offs, as many Championship fans know, is an utter lottery, and surprises can pop up quite unexpectedly. With so many decent sides in the running as well, Huddersfield Town’s task might be entering the hardest stage yet come the end of the season.
So who do Huddersfield Town fans want to get in the play-offs? Are they feeling confident? Or are the nerves setting in? HITC Sport went to ask fans to get their views and opinions…

“An easy team” replied one Huddersfield Town fan. Sorry mate, there aren’t any of those to choose from this year!
Another fan suggested Jaap Stam’s Reading, perhaps due to their inconsistency and tendency to let it slip at the back this season. “They used to be our bogie team but this year we’re doing alright against them” he went on to add.
One thing’s for sure, plenty of Huddersfield Town fans are keen to play Leeds United in the final. A game that could well be the grudge match of all grudge matches. “Everyone wants Leeds just for the occasion” added one Huddersfield supporter.
