The Manchester United manager is often a hot topic for Liverpool supporters.
After the disastrous end to his tenure at Chelsea, many Liverpool fans thought (and hoped) they had seen the last of Jose Mourinho in the Premier League. However, following the departure of Louis van Gaal in the summer, Mourinho has found himself in work in England once again, at one of Liverpool’s biggest and oldest rivals: Manchester United.
Of opposition managers come and gone, no other has drawn more hatred and vitriol from Liverpool fans as Mourinho, so we decided to ask Liverpool fans how they felt about the ‘Special One’s’ return to the Premier League.

Among the many profanities, some Liverpool fans suggested that the Red Devils would be “lucky not to get relegated” under Mourinho, as others referred to him as just a “waste of space”.
“United are just rubbish, and what he’s brought in (the players) haven’t done anything” suggested one Liverpool supporters, referring to the mega-money signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Eric Bailley. Another suggested that United had “had their success, and hadn’t taken it with any dignity.” Harsh words from the Liverpool faithful, who clearly aren’t happy to see their old enemy at the helm of their even older enemy!
