Earlier today, an 11-second video emerged of Granit Xhaka paying a visit to the Chip Inn Fish Bar, who Arsenal share a close relationship with.

You may remember the Chip Inn Fish Bar from a recent advert starring Aaron Ramsdale and David Seaman, as part of a campaign to help local businesses in north London.

Xhaka – who was signed by Arsène Wenger in 2016 – was presumably filming another type of advert for the Chip Inn Fish Bar, as he was cladded out in a vintage Arsenal tracksuit.

However, the Switzerland international may also have been filming the announcement video for Arsenal’s new 2022/23 home shirt…

What’s the story?

Well, one eagle-eyed supporter – who goes by the Twitter name @AFCMet – spotted a white collar under Xhaka’s tracksuit.

Study the strip a bit more, and it looks very much like the shirt which has been seen in leaked images of the new Arsenal kit.

You can see the 11-second footage below.

In our view, Arsenal are once again collaborating with the Chip Inn Fish Bar to reveal their new home shirt – that’s very much what it looks like, at least.

You can see a photo of the rumoured 2022/23 strip below.

In our view, Adidas have worked wonders with the Gunners once again, creating another very classy shirt for the north Londoners.

Hopefully, Mikel Arteta will get to see his side wearing the shirt in the Champions League next season.

New Arsenal shirt is a big deal… for the Chip Inn Fish Bar

Of course, much of the focus here will be on the new Arsenal shirt, although we mustn’t gloss over how big this is for the Chip Inn Fish Bar.

The Gunners have already done so much to help the local business out after the financial nightmares of the global pandemic, and if they really are going to reveal their new home shirt at the shop, it will surely do wonders for business.

Once again, Arsenal are showing their class.
