Tanguy Ndombele might not have had much success in London while at Tottenham Hotspur, but he certainly did on Thursday night – albeit against West Ham. He equalised for his loan side, as they drew with the Hammers.

Ndombele, 25, left Tottenham on loan in January after starting just six Premier League games beforehand – rejoining the side Spurs paid a club-record fee to sign the France international. He has been indifferent since.

Following a solid start back with Lyon under Peter Bosz, Ndombele has produced a few okay-ish performances. Against West Ham, Ndombele provided a crucial moment for Lyon with West Ham leading 1-0.

There was plenty of drama at the London Stadium throughout. Firstly, Aaron Cresswell was somewhat harshly sent off – with many decisions going against West Ham throughout, to the frustration of the crowd.

But West Ham opened the scoring despite the numerical disadvantage – a loose ball falling to Jarrod Bowen in the Lyon box, and his turn and swivel saw the ball deflect into the back of the French side’s net.

However, it was Ndombele who equalised. His first goal of his Lyon loan spell, Ndombele tapped home after West Ham failed to defend an attack from the left. Watch below, as Ndombele got his name on the score sheet.
